Free Venue for your Oregon Indian Farm Wedding this Summer!

Planning an Indian wedding for Summer 2013?  Little People Big World is looking to feature an Indian wedding and is offering their gorgeous farm as a complimentary venue if you're chosen!  Contact me if interested and I'll put you in touch.

I am the Wedding Venue Manager at Roloff Farms in Hillsboro. The farm owners (Matt & Amy Roloff) have a reality TV show on TLC called "Little People Big World - Wedding Farm". The series has been on the air since 2004 and is highly regarded. We are currently in the process of finding special bride/grooms for summer 2013 weddings and would love to explore possibly having an Indian wedding. We waive our venue fee and offer many beautiful areas.

Please Note:  The photo below was not taken at Roloff Farms but is an Indian farm wedding that I photographed in Scappoose, Oregon.

Portland Indian Weddings Bridal Show - Feb 10th, 2013!

We'd heard from too many people that there are no resources for Indian weddings in Portland, so Studio Varnika, DJ Prashant, and Hayward's Decorations collaborated to create Portland Indian Weddings, a group which provides high-quality packages for South Asian weddings!  One of the things that we're putting together is a bridal show featuring vendors who have products tailored just for Indian weddings-- it's going to be a great time with Prashant spinning some Bollywood tunes, delicious snacks and desserts available for tasting, and we're also giving away a bunch of valuable door prizes!  You can register early for $5 or tickets are $12 at the door.  Please check out the information on the Indian wedding show, and we'd love to see you there!

A Stunning Persian Fusion Wedding!

A gorgeous fusion wedding in Portland, Oregon, featuring Iranian traditions and tons of beautiful details with symbolism wishing the bride and groom a long and prosperous life.  I try to capture photos from a unique perspective, and this portrait of the couple's reflection was taken discreetly over the bride's shoulder.  There are so many things about this wedding that I love, but the Middle Eastern songs were a big bonus and fun to dance to (while taking lots of photos, of course)!  READ MORE...

A South Padre Beach Wedding (with Pakistani and American Traditions)

Another beautiful Texas wedding, this time on a beach!  A lot of amazing moments from the wedding, and I think it's what caught the eye of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, which just accepted me as a member this past week (I'm so thrilled about that, since it's very difficult to get in)!  It started to rain literally minutes after the ceremony finished, and we unanimously decided that it was a good omen for the lovely couple to start their married life together  :)  READ MORE...

A Texas Hill Country Indian Wedding (with Chinese Touches)

Check out these amazing photos from this wedding!  It was a beautiful wedding in a wonderful Texas Hill Country setting, and I have never seen such gorgeous mehendi in my life-- look at the face details in her palm!  The bride did not want her name shared, so I didn't post any ceremony photos where you could see their names on customized hearts, or photos of her parents, but there are plenty of photos to give you an idea of what the wedding was like.  READ MORE...
